This is a project we just finished for one of our longtime clients. We hand painted pinstripes on the mat to compliment Mantle’s uniform, and mounted our client’s New York Yankees patch to the upper right corner.

What our clients are saying about us January 25, 2012

Here’s some great reviews our clients have left us. Thank you so much to everyone who left us such wonderful comments!
Moving can be annoying. But, setting up your new place is fun! Part
of that entails getting new art framed, and that’s exactly what I did
at Frame Factory.
Sara was super friendly and helpful, suggesting colorful frames that
went well with the eclectic pieces I brought in. She was sensitive to
my budget, and really easy to work with. Framing is normally super
expensive, but thanks to her, I walked away feeling like I got a
bargain on some really cool frames.
I’ll be back next time I need something framed up fo sho.

As someone who has used various custom framing services in and around
Chicago for years (I do a lot of needlework), I was extremely pleased
with the quote I got for a project I brought in here. In fact, I
think I’ve found my new go-to framing place!
I worked with Nathan, and he was really, really helpful, and friendly
to boot. And the fact that they’ll have my project done in a week and
a half or less? Who can argue with that?
Also, the store is beautiful, and it was fun to wander around and
check out all the different prints and types of framing they do.
Bottom line: check this place out. It’s fabulous.

We had the FF professionally frame two of our 20×30 wedding photos. I
am not the creative type, so they helped pick out the best frame based
on our taste and current decor. They did a stellar job and we are
very happy–plus they gave us $60 off our next order! Very friendly
and helpful staff.

A bit of the beaten track but worth the drive, the Frame Factory’s
western location is spacious and relaxed, giving a indecisive customer
like myself plenty of room to vasilate as I make a decision about
matting and frames. The staff is very knowledgeable and service is
timely and reasonably priced.
Keep your eyes peeled for warm-weather blow-out sales held in the
ample-sized parking lot.

A simple black frame is one of the most common and beautiful frame choices a client could make. Yet the term “simple black frame” still leaves you with a wide variety of choices. Here we featured some our our black lacquer frames (with some not-so-simple black and white frames added in for a little visual interest). We have black frame choices in every width, with many different depths, finishes, textures, and angles. Feel free to come in and let our custom frame specialist help you pick out the perfect frame for your piece!

This was an exciting project to take on. Our client asked us to preserve and display her gorgeous black feather fan. We mounted it on a handwrapped silk ivory mat, with a small opening for a vintage photo.

Our clients brought these leather puppets back from a trip to China. We mounted them on a white mat in a traditional dancing pose, and used a dark gray top mat with olive undertones to counter the bright colors of the dolls. We shadowboxed this in a black lacquer frame so that the puppets are set back about an inch from the glass.

For this project we chose to go with a minimalist frame design to showcase and preserve this keepsake our client wore as a child.
